old shitload of randomness

it’s been a while since i’ve posted something new up here… for now i’m going to post some older pictures. the reason why i haven’t posted them before is because i was not too happy with the development and prints. i had some rolls developed and printed in another shop than i’m used to. i have to say that they fucked up the development quite bad and the prints… yeah well… the prints looked quite greenish. not much of a surprise if you know that they print analogue b/w pics on digital photo paper(Fujicolor crystal archive paper) :-/ i think they should chop off those people’s hands for doing such things.. really!

i was quite pissed off about it and it only strengthened the idea of having a darkroom of my own. even though i haven’t developed film before.. i can only try. right? and this way there’s no one to blame but myself when the negs look like crap :]

anywho.. i’ve been looking for enlargers for some time now, but i still don’t know which one to choose. i’m mainly looking for a b/w enlarger(condenser type preferably!) which can handle both 35mm and 6×6(and/or 6×7). the beseler 67xl and the omega c760xl look very interesting, but they’re hard to find on the second-hand market. anyone other suggestions of enlargers that might meet my needs?

ah well.. enough ranting for one day :] i’ll start posting pictures now…

all pictures were taken with bessa r3m, nokton 40/1.4, tri-x

a day in ghent..

things like this might happen when you’re fiddling too much with settings and are too late with capturing the scene.. caught in the act! :]

dogs like ice cream too ^^

i just had to photograph this to make sure that i wasn’t having any hallucinations of giant michelin puppets walking through out ghent.

cool stuff!

reflections ftw!

some train pics on my way to Sint-Lukas/Brussels for my entrance exam…
